Cost

If you have a pension or a health care card the eye examination will be bulk billed.

All fees are scheduled by the Health Insurance Commision and attract a full 85% medicare rebate.

Please contact us for costs regarding:

A complete eye examination ( reimbursed by medicare). If a visual field test is required an additional fee will be charged at the time of appointment (also reimbursed by medicare).
A retinal photograph.

Many large chain stores bulk bill all consultations. We choose not to bulk bill all of our appointments because we take pride in our thoroughness. We hope you too value your sight and give us the opportunity to show you the quality of our care.

 

Do I need to make an appointment or do I need a referral?

Yes, we do run the day according to our appointments. Due to the thoroughness of each eye examination we like to set time aside especially for each individual patient.

However, NO referral is needed.
